Art of Ritual

"Sacred Ritual: their rituals (unaltered) were recreations of the acts of divine beings when life arose in the beginning of time. The performing of rites was not only a high calling but a spiritual exchange that offered countless benefits to the participant": the great god will imbue life and fortify with blessings.

Amidst these very charged and potent times, it has become increasingly important to gather, build, and refine our individual and collective Ritual toolset. As our culture evolves to be most relevant within the current era, so must our Ritual practices.

In this highly interactive class, we will learn to create an intentional environment with a structure and outline for a basic ritual practice. Within this space, we will collectively engage with practices for connecting with the life-force of Creation and thus make offerings of substance and nourishment. We will delve into the technology of Prayer and cultivate our innate awareness and alliance with the Great Mystery. In this magic making way, we refine our ability to bridge the physical and spiritual worlds and make the Beauty we want to see in the world.

Art of Divination with the Oracle Divination Board

Divination is an ancient practice of receiving information by interpreting omens, signs, symbols, and images through the use of various technologies.. This artform is a medium to communicate with the supernatural and thus bring forward messages that can help the querent gain insight into a question or situation. This practice of foresight, sometimes prediction or prophecy, and awareness of the internal workings of the Cosmos has been and continues to be a useful way to receive guidance for one's Path.

In this session we will be working with an Oracle Divination Board that is a cosmological map of the Universe carrying planetary, astrological, elemental, cyclical, and archetypal symbols all connected to an Oracle Crystal Ball. To read the board, we work with dice, crystals, and deities that support inthe transmissions coming forward.

The querent can come with a specific question and/ or receive a general reading. They will then toss the dice and intuitively place the other ritual items. The Diviner will interpret and also sometimes offer ritual practices that pair with the riddle given.

Through this Rite, we enter the Great Mystery through the Art of Divination.
